So I noticed some new features on my exfm profile last night (screenshot below). It looks like you will be able to follow sites soon. That would be sweet (spread the details exfm!). There is also a short list of suggested users to follow. I found this show (site) in the suggested area, which produced my song of the day. Enjoy!

Show of the Weekend

Leftover Salmon - “Teen Angst”
11.10.02 - Starr Hill Music Hall - Charlottesville, VA

Before Trampled By Turtles, the Infamous Stringdusters, the Avetts (insert jamgrass band here), there was Leftover Salmon. My love for jamgrass has faded over the years, but back in the late 90s I dug Leftover. This was the last time I caught LoS live, and it was a classic one. David Lowery of Cracker joined LoS for about half of the show, treating us to a few covers and several Cracker tunes.

Both Cracker and Leftover Salmon will be playing Central Virginia this summer. Leftover Salmon will be at Innsbrook Pavilion in Richmond on July 28th, opening for Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers. Cracker is hosting their own festival, Campout East, on June 1st and 2nd in Buena Vista. Check them out if you can!

Temple Of The Dog - “Say Hello 2 Heaven”

First song I heard this morning was by Chris Cornell. Brought my brain straight back to 1990.

Juniper Tar - “The Dullest Cleaver”

I know nothing about this band except that I enjoyed their latest album Since Before on my first listen yesterday. Sounds Arcade Fire-ish. Enjoy.

Hold It Now, Hit It - Beastie Boys

I’ve had this song stuck in my head ever since I watched this awesome video

One more from the Beasties to kick off the week. This has always been my personal favorite from Licensed to Ill. Click through above to view that video also (especially if you are a parent).
